What I Do Every Monday Morning As A Booked Out EA

Mondays get a bad reputation, but they’re my favourite day of the week at work!

My job requires me to be logged in to multiple calendars, inboxes and client systems – and continually switching between each during the day. If I don’t get prepared and ahead of what is coming up, and before the notifications start to fly in, it can become quite stressful.

So, early doors on Monday, before the week begins, I set myself a recurring 30-minute slot in my own calendar, called ‘The Monday Map-Out’ and use it to do the following things:

·       Quick scan of client inboxes to see what has come in over the weekend so I know what I’m dealing with

·       Update my task list for the week

·       Pick one ‘win’ for the week ahead

You can never really control how the week will unfold, but you can set the tone for yourself. I always track my wins too!

I have a lot of client catch ups on a Monday also (SO helpful) but this is what I do to get my ducks in a row in managing multiple people.

My master task list tracker is a work of art, even if I do say so myself! I’d love to hear if anyone else tracks their wins, as well as their to-dos.
